Collective Resonance and Alecs DeLarge are excited to present this brand new release titled 'Earth Seeds'. Here are some words about this new LP from DeLarge himself:

"This is a culmination of my best work cooked up over the past two years on my AKAI samplers. My previous EP ‘S950 Bumps’, is a prelude to this release, featuring outtakes and cuts that didn’t make it from this album. The production on Earth Seeds is more technical than previous releases, using multi-layered samples to create deep textures and sonic landscapes."

This album is a 25-minute ride through the mind of Alecs DeLarge, consisting of a batch of 12 bit, blunted, jazzy beats that were cooked up between 2016-17 on his AKAI S900 and MPC 2000 samplers. A slight departure from his signature SP-303 sound, Alecs pays homage to his main production influences coming up such as Lord Finesse, Q-Tip, Buckwild, The Beatminerz, Havoc and Pete Rock. DeLarge elaborated on his earlier comments by saying:

"Growing up, I always wanted to create an album that sounded like it could have dropped in 93-97, some shit my favourite rappers would sounded ill on. Mixed and mastered on vintage analogue gear - so expect plenty of crackles, machine hum and grit.”
